We are heading to the “porteño” neighborhood of Belgrano, located north of Palermo and in the northeast of the city.  Well known for its vibrant commercial and stylish residential areas, today it is one of the most interesting districts, preserving old mansions and stately residences (several of them museums), which coexist with tall and modern buildings.

In 1855 the name of Belgrano was given to a settlement located north of Buenos Aires, in homage to Manuel Belgrano, national hero, soldier, politician and creator of the Argentine flag. Belgrano was born as a town, but today it is one of the most interesting areas within BA, either to live or visit.
